Hampton Court Spirits is honoured to have been selected by the British Consulate In Los Angeles to create and serve cocktails at their Oscar’s Nominee Reception Party last week! We’ve created two fabulous cocktails to showcase our own award-winning spirits, themed around two of the year’s greatest films…
And the winners are…
“Hi Barbie”
A juicy twist on a classic Rum Punch with our “vibrant and zesty” The Father craft spiced rum, fresh lime, pomegranate and pineapple juice, topped with sparkling ginger beer, and garnished lavishly with pineapple, lime, and pink straws and umbrellas, for the ultimate tropical Beach Barbie sipper.
“Fennell’s Fire”
Saltburn may not have received any nominations at this year’s Oscar’s but it’s certainly won an unforgettable place in our hearts (and our minds!)… Our second cocktail, created by @ginsquares, celebrates the very best in British cinematographic talent, Saltburn’s inimitable writer, director and producer, Emerald Fennell… As the saying goes, “Play with fire, and you will get (Salt)burned…” A feisty little cocktail full of tasty contradictions, “Deliciously Devilish” Lord of Misrule craft gin, with warming yet refreshing ginger liqueur and ginger ale, zingy lime, fresh mint and a Maraschino cherry.
