On top of the Time & Leisure "Taste Award" we won in February 2022, we are ridiculously proud to announce Misrule's Bronze award in the prestigious International Wine & Spirit Competition.
The IWSC is the world’s original wine and spirit competition, created to reward excellence in drinks worldwide, ensuring recognition for the very best wines and spirits. Setting the international benchmark for quality, the IWSC’s annual results are decided by an impartial judging panel of the world’s leading wine and spirits experts including Master Sommeliers, Masters of Wine, Master Distillers and Blenders.
We are particularly chuffed, as the competition was even fiercer than usual, with a record number of entries, and our very own Misrule scoring 88 - just 2 points off Silver!

Following a bumper year for entries, the IWSC has announced the medal winners for its 2022 spirits awards.
Over two weeks, 85 of the world’s leading spirit experts were gathered to assess over 4,000 spirits from over 90 countries, entered into 21 different categories. Each spirit was tasted and awarded a score, translating for many entries into a Gold Outstanding, Gold, Silver or Bronze medal.
Demonstrating its enduring popularity, Gin continued to dominate at the awards this year, accounting for more than 1,200 of total entries and taking home 15% of the year’s Gold Outstanding and Gold medals.
